Terms and Conditions     updated 28th July 2020

Booking & Renewal 

Please be aware once you have booked and paid for your class, Mama Blossom is under no obligation to provide refunds (see REFUNDS below). 

Please be aware there is no automatic rebooking process if you wish to continue with more classes.

 

Changing Times and Venues 

If Mama Blossom needs to amend your class time or the venue at which your class is held they will endeavour to provide you with a minimum of 7 days notice. Where the start time is altered by less than 30 minutes and/or the venue is located within a 1 mile radius of original planned venue, no refunds will be offered. 

 

Taking Payment 

Payment method is either PayPal , Stripe (card) or Bank Transfer, if only a deposit is paid the remaining course/ workshop payment should be paid no later than 1 week before the first session. Failure to do so will mean the deposit is retained and your booking cancelled. No cash payments please.

 

Refunds and Cancellations 

Mama Blossom is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money in the event that you are unable to attend part of or the entire course. They are not obliged to guarantee an alternative class for missed lessons (unless this is due to them cancelling class). 

 

If mum has baby early or during a course a pro rata refund will be given or credited towards baby classes if they run locally. 

In the unfortunate event you should suffer a miscarriage, please inform Mama Blossom and we will arrange a FULL refund. 

 

A refund will not be given if you are unable to attend a face to face class due to Covid symptoms or self isolation. Only if an online class is available this may be offered by Mama Blossom

 

Video & Photography 

To respect the 'open and honest' nature of classes no observers, family members, partners or friends are permitted in Yoga for Fertility, Pregnancy Yoga classes or baby massage & yoga classes in any circumstances. 

We have a no photography policy in class to protect the privacy of the mums unless you gain permission from your class teacher and have written consent from all of the mums/ parents/ carers photographed in class. Such images are not to shared via any public platform such as Facebook or other internet sites unless you have written permission from your teacher and the mums/ parents/ carers which feature in the picture. 

Mama Blossom forbids the right to film, reproduce or share any part of the lessons or relaxation tracks in any form (i.e. you-tube, internet sites, DVDs, photography etc) and anyone suspected of continually filming, observing or photographing the lessons for this purpose will be asked to leave the course. 

Mama Blossom cannot be held liable for the actions of third parties.

When participating in online classes please be considerate to others in the class and the same rules apply about family members, friends etc participating or view the screen. 

Please do not take photo's of the screen during online classes unless you have permission from the other participates and Mama Blossom

No recording of online classes is permitted. 

If agreed by the class to record online sessions these are for your own personal use, not to be downloaded, not to be shared with others.

Valuables and Jewellery 

All property taken to class is left at your own risk. Mama Blossom accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal possessions before, during or after class. 

Withdrawal of service 

Mama Blossom may at their discretion refuse entry to a client onto its courses. 

 

Health and Safety 

Whilst you are waiting for your class please keep noise to a minimum so that all lessons can take place in a calm atmosphere. Do not enter the studio whilst the current class is in progress; please wait to be invited in by your teacher. 

 

Please be respectful of other mums/ carers in your class by ensuring that any personal belongings are neatly stored at the side of the room so that they are not a trip hazard and please make sure your mobile phone is on silent. 

Please ensure your Mama Blossom is aware if your contact number or emergency contact number changes. They can only notify you in the event of a cancelled class, if they have up-to-date contact information for you. 

Cancelled Sessions — Illness or Bad Weather 

Your local provider will endeavor to ensure your scheduled class always runs. However, from time to time unforeseen circumstances will prevent this. They will ALWAYS attempt to make contact with you if class is cancelled, either via phone, text or email. Please ensure you always check your phone prior to leaving for class.  

If your class teacher has deemed the weather fit to travel and has still run the class but you personally have decided not to attend then no refund will be given if the class was run. 

Exclusion of Liability 

In the absence of any proven negligence, lack of due diligence or breach of duty by the instructor, Mama Blossom, the participation of you, your partner, your baby or your child or those in whose care you have placed your baby/child for the purpose of attending class, is done so entirely at your and their own risk. Please be aware in Online classes all the terms in this agreement still apply. Mama Blossom will be unable to view and direct during live online classes, you are completely responsible for yourself and baby and Mama Blossom holds no liability and you attend entirely at your own risk.

Medical Conditions 

It is vital that you inform your teacher of any medical conditions (all attendees) that you might affect your time in class, adjustments may need to be made, awareness in case of emergency or help improve your experience. All information is treated sensitively and in confidence, a copy of the privacy policy can be given on request. 

Such conditions may be pre existing medical conditions or conditions which arise during pregnancy which include, but are not limited to: high blood pressure, low blood pressure, bleeding, spotting, history of miscarriage, placenta previa, back or hip issues. 

If you are receiving fertility treatment please ensure your teacher is aware via the form and your journey during the term as adjustments will need to be made to support your journey.

It is your responsibility to keep them up to date with any conditions you may have and advise them of any new conditions or complications. 

If you are unwell or if you are unsure whether to attend a class or not you must inform your teacher BEFORE you come to class so that they can assess any risks to the others in class and advise if you should attend or not. 

Recommended Starting Stage 

For pregnancy, research shows exercise and movement can be beneficial in helping to prevent miscarriage, if you are trying for a baby or planning to in the next 3-6 months the yoga for fertility class is recommended and it is safe to continue attending this class if you become pregnant. If you are less than 14 weeks pregnant there is a book weekly class specific for 0-14 weeks of pregnancy. From 14 weeks to the birth of baby there is the pregnancy yoga classes running in blocks.

Baby massage classes can be started from newborn.

Please be aware that you are responsible for booking on to the correct class and responsible to keep your teacher informed of any changes. Mama Blossom holds no liability and you attend entirely at your own risk

 

Covid-19 – Attending Face to Face Classes

Please ensure you review the guidelines sent to you via email and WhatsApp before attending class, here are some guidelines that must be adhered to, but not all;

 

  • You must bring all your own equipment, these must be clean and mats antibacterial wiped down

  • In line with guidelines mats must be 2m apart and no singing

  • Ensure you do not enter the building any earlier than the time given by your teacher

  • Use designated entrance and exits

  • Keep 2m apart at all times

  • Antibacterial gel and wipes will be made available

  • Wearing masks is entirely your own choice.

  • Please be aware others in class may breach the 2m rule, Mama Blossom is not responsible.

  • Pushchairs, car seats and other large items need to be left outside the room. These are left outside at your own risk.

  • Toilets can only be used one at a time

  • The room may be cold due to ventilation, please ensure you and little ones are dressed appropriately.

  • We may venture outside, please wear suitable footwear

  • You attend class aware of Covid risks and attend entirely at your own risk.

  • Mama Blossom will have risk assessments and method statements in place, you can request to see these at any time. But please be aware this reduces risk but does not mitigate the risk of Covid-19.

  • If you are self isolating you must not attend classes face to face

  • If you have any symptoms of Covid, or believe you may be in contact with anyone that has then do not attend class.

  • You attend face to face classes at your own risk.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are fully aware that the services you wish to receive are those of a holistic nature and do not serve as a substitute for professional medical advice, examination, diagnosis or treatment..You fully understand these classes and workshops are not a substitute for medical treatment and it may take many sessions before you notice any benefit. This will depend on you lifestyle, on-going medication and general health.

Mama Blossom does not claim to cure or to diagnose any medical condition in the same regard as a physician, as their opinion is that of a holistic, complementary and alternative therapist and their professional opinions, advice, examinations and recommendations do NOT constitute the medical advice of a doctor/physician.
